Touch, play, and explore – right here, right now. In this interactive, hands-on exhibition at the
Red Star Line Museum, you and your little ones (starting from age 1) set off on a journey
together. Navigating between five different stations, you’ll discover what it means to travel
and which emotions come with saying goodbye.
How do you prepare for a journey? Who do you meet along the way? How is this new place
different from what you already know? How do you stay in touch with those back home?
Where do you find comfort and a safe haven?
You’ll receive a booklet to guide you through your journey, and to take home as a keepsake. Safe travels!
Practical information
The exhibition runs from October 25, 2025, to January 4, 2026. Admission to the interactive
exhibition is free. If you’d also like to visit the museum’s permanent collection, you’ll need to
buy a ticket at the Red Star Line Museum desk.
The exhibition is linked to the musical performance ‘Battoe’, presented several times at the
museum. In ‘Battoe’, two musicians aboard a wooden raft take the audience on a journey.
